What to Wear to a Troy Game: Troy Trojans Gameday Outfit Guide
Whether you're headed to a home game in Troy, AL, watching with friends, or just repping the Trojans on a regular Tuesday, this guide covers what to wear, how the pieces fit, and the best Troy gifts.
On this page
Every piece below is officially licensed by Troy University and designed by UPSIDE, with the school name flipped upside down so it stands out in a sea of cardinal, silver and black.
The best Troy apparel right now
These are the pieces Troy fans reach for most, from the varsity hoodie to the hat that shows up at every tailgate.
How to dress for a Troy game
Gameday in Troy, AL usually means heat, especially early in the season, so build around breathable pieces and save the hoodie for night games and the cooler weeks late in the year.
- Early-season day game: Keep it light and breathable, and add a hat to block the sun. Wear: Troy Trojans Essentials Oversized Tee, Troy Trojans Hat.
- Night game or late season: Throw a layer on top once the sun goes down. Wear: Troy Trojans Varsity Hoodie.
- Everyday on campus: Easy pieces for class, weekends and travel. Wear: Troy Trojans Essentials Oversized Tee, Troy Trojans Hat.
Color tip: Troy colors are cardinal, silver and black. Match one color on top and keep the rest neutral (black, white or denim) for a clean look that still reads as Troy from across the stadium.
Troy tailgate essentials
Tailgates are long, so comfort matters as much as color. An oversized tee layers over anything, and a hat handles sun and bad hair days alike. If the game runs late, toss the hoodie in the car.
Sizing and fit
- Hoodies: Troy Trojans Varsity Hoodie comes in XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL.
- Tees: the Troy Trojans Essentials Oversized Tee comes in S, M, L, XL, XXL and is cut oversized, so size down for a closer fit.
- Hats: one size fits most.
Not sure? Size exchanges are free, so you can swap if something doesn't fit right.
